T12 40w LED Tube 8 foot (PL316-120)
The T12 40w LED Tube is a direct replacement for a conventional T12/100w fluorescent tube fitting and can reduce your energy consumption and CO₂ emissions by up to 65%. The LED tube features a patented microprocessor controlled driver, which enables ultra efficiency and total reliability by active regulation of temperature. It is also the only LED tube in the world to have zero current inrush.
The LED tube offers the best lighting efficiency over all other LED lighting solutions as well as offering one of the shortest payback periods of any linear LED lighting product on the market today.
Please note: the LED Tubes offer an optional dimmable feature. This option will carry an additional price.

LED Lighting- What the fittings are and which one you want
All our LED lights (apart from the strip lighting) can be retrofitted. This means the LEDs can replace your current bulbs without any hassle of worrying about fittings.
The fittings (endings) of lights are denoted by their product codes. The same endings are used in LED and non-LED lighting.
If you're unsure which is the right code for you, please see the information below or call us on 020 8539 4707.
MR16 Lamp (12v):
MR16s are a type of light fitting. They provide directional light and are well known for their application as down lights.MR16 globe. They require a separate driver. Below is an example of an MR16 fitting.

GU10 (240v):
GU10 is a type of light fitting. The picture below is an example of an GU10 light fitting:

Bayonet Cap (B.C.):
Bayonets caps are the most common and have a twist and push action. They are usually 22mm. See picture below:

Small Bayonet cap (S.B.C.):
The same as a bayonet cap but only 15mm. See picture below:

Edison Screw/ES27:
Edison Screw or ES27s are a type of light fitting. The picture below is an example of an Edison screw:

Small Edison Screw (S.E.S)/ E14:
14mm- usually used for smaller, more decorative bulbs e.g. chandiliers. See picture below:

** Effective lumens incorporates the fact that approx 50% of the light emitted from a fluorescent in a standard reflective ceiling fitting is wasted by not being directed downwards, whereas the more directional 120° spread of the LED tube light is fully utilised.
