Rainwater Harvesting- How it works

Rain water can be collected by using the roof (and only the roof) as a collector of rainwater.  The water then goes into a tank (traditionally underground but more cost effective and flexible if you have it overground).  A pump is attached to the system.  The collected water can then be used for the garden hose supply, flushing toilets and washing machines.

  • You can even make the water drinkable by attaching one of our filters- giving you free drinking water on tap.  We can remedy any water problems making it healthy and taste good.
We've been treating well water for many years and realised that treating your rainwater is no different.

As the population grows and water reserves decline, the need for rainwater harvesting systems becomes evermore important, as these systems replace water usage in a safe and convenient way.
